TUTORIALS
Welcome to TICEC 2025, the premier international conference dedicated to advancing the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This year’s event will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and academics to explore the latest innovations, share cutting-edge research, and discuss ICT’s practical challenges and future directions.
Join us with tutorial from October 16-17, 2025, to drive forward the frontiers of technology and innovation. We invite submissions for tutorials at TICEC 2025, designed to deliver intensive, high-value educational sessions on cutting-edge topics to the research community. These tutorials are pivotal in knowledge sharing.
Tutorials will include comprehensive practical activities aligned with the conference’s focus areas. This platform offers an unparalleled opportunity to address practical challenges in the realm of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
We encourage you to submit your tutorial proposals by 29 June. Don’t miss the chance to contribute to and participate in TICEC 2025.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Format Requirement: Submissions are accepted in PDF format only.
- Proposal form: Use the provided template to complete your proposal. Fill in all the fields and include all the relevant information about your proposal.
- Submit: Send your PDF proposal to the conference email ticec@cedia.org.ec with the subject CALL FOR TUTORIALS.
PROPOSAL STRUCTURE
Proposals should be 3-4 pages in length in single-column format, with the presenters’ CVs submitted as supplemental material. The proposal should include the following information:
- Title
- Tutorial abstract
- Area of Interest: check our conference topics
- Name, affiliation, and email addresses of presenters
- Proposed duration: 2 hours, 20 minutes, or half-day (4 hours with a 30-minute break)
- Target audience: Who is expected to attend? What prior knowledge is assumed/required? How many attendees are expected?
- Expected outcome: What would the attendees learn?
- Novelty/innovation being presented: What is new and innovative in the tutorial?
- Tutorial Details: Explain with as much detail as necessary what will be offered in the tutorial.
- Hands-on Component (if applicable): What is involved in the hands-on component? What tools and software, are needed? Is the attendee expected to provide any materials?
- Supplementary materials:
- Any additional materials that provide a complete picture of the tutorial, e.g., slides from previous similar tutorials conducted, requests, etc.
- Presenters’ CVs: A 2-3 page CV of each presenter that includes name, affiliation, current position, mailing address, and email address. A summary of their experience in the tutorial area should be included, as well as a list of publications and/or presentations that are relevant to the tutorial. Evidence of teaching and/or experience in the topic area should also be provided.
Proposals should be submitted by June 29, 2025. Submissions should be in PDF format, with the presenters’ CVs included as supplementary material. The submission should be sent as a single PDF file to ticec@cedia.org.ec
CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE
Each proposal will be evaluated by two senior members of the Steering Committee. Proposals will be judged on:
- Originality: Is the tutorial related to the conference’s topics and provides relevant new insights to the attendees?
- Engagement: Is the tutorial attractive to the attendees?
- Significance: The tutorial is a hands-on Tutorial.
- Quality: The tutorial instructors have a relevant presence in the field of study.
- Clarity: The proposal has realistic activities and objectives.
- Relevance: Directly addresses one or more of the conference’s themes.
POLICIES
- Commitment: The tutorial team is committed to carrying the tutorial mentioned inside the TICEC 2025.
- Authorship: The tutorial content must be accessible to the attendees.
- Registration Policy: Registration for the conference includes participating in the tutorials.
- Publication Rule: The call for papers must provide high-quality proceedings to publish the accepted articles of the participants.
